Hermeticor sign-up forms, popups and consent-aware tracking on your WordPress site, with WooCommerce cart targeting.

== Description ==

Hermeticor is an outreach platform for email and SMS marketing that sends through your own providers. This plugin connects your WordPress site to your Hermeticor workspace:

* Shows the forms you publish in Hermeticor: popups, flyouts and inline forms.
* Places an inline form anywhere with the Hermeticor form block or the `[hermeticor_form id="…"]` shortcode.
* Records page views for segments, journeys and reports, only as far as the visitor's consent allows.
* With WooCommerce, keeps the cart total and item count up to date for form cart rules (for example "show when the cart is over 50").
* Optionally identifies logged-in users by email, only after they allow marketing. Off by default.

You need a Hermeticor account and a site key. Add your site under Sites in Hermeticor to get one.

== Installation ==

1. Upload the plugin and activate it, or install it from Plugins → Add New.
2. In Hermeticor, open Sites, add your site and copy its site key (it starts with `hm_pk_`).
3. In WordPress, open Settings → Hermeticor, paste the site key and save.
4. Publish a form in Hermeticor (type Embedded for an inline form). Popups and flyouts show on their own; place inline forms with the block or the shortcode.
5. Back in Hermeticor, click Check install on the site.

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= Where do I find the form ID? =

In Hermeticor, open Forms and pick the form. The ID is the last part of the editor's address (`/forms/<id>`). Inline forms use the Embedded type and must be published.

= Does it work with my cookie banner? =

With the default consent mode, nothing is stored or sent until the visitor allows analytics. If your banner supports the WP Consent API, the plugin passes the visitor's statistics and marketing choices to Hermeticor. Otherwise call `hermetica.consent.update({ analytics: true, marketing: false })` from your banner.

= Can I use my own Hermeticor host? =

Yes. Set Endpoint to its https address.

== External services ==

This plugin connects to Hermeticor (https://hermeticor.com), or the endpoint you set, to load the Hermeticor script, load your published forms and send the events and form sign-ups your visitors allow.

* On every front-end page it loads `/sdk/hermetica.js` and your published forms from the endpoint.
* With the visitor's analytics consent it sends page views and a random visitor id. The WooCommerce cart total and item count stay in the browser, where form rules read them.
* When a visitor submits a form it sends what they entered and the consent boxes they ticked.
* When "Identify logged-in users" is on and the visitor allows marketing, it sends the logged-in user's email address.

== Privacy ==

Nothing is stored in the visitor's browser or sent to Hermeticor until the consent mode you choose allows it. The default, Require consent, waits for the visitor to allow analytics. The plugin adds no cookies of its own and stores only its settings in your WordPress database. Deleting the plugin removes them.
